Opened in March 2020, our aim is to offer a clean, safe and fun environment for INTERNATIONAL YOUTH TRAVELLERS. Which means if you're an old local, you definitely won't fit the vibe. So please read the policies before booking us as you might get refused. 

It's an hostel with shared bathrooms, shared kitchens, shared rooms and private rooms (no ensuite). It's not an hotel, not a motel, it's a youth international hostel. Everyone lives amongst everyone so it's a very social environment, 

We have been traveling around the world, so we know what it's like to miss home. Darwin hostel will be yours. 

I have been in Darwin for years, so we will always give you the best tips and make sure you enjoy your stay in the Northern Territory

DH is a small 60 beds hostel. We have time to spend with customers, helping them to settle in Australia, find a job, find a car, where to party, how to this or that.. Whatever we can help with, we'll be more than happy too. We know every customers by their names and nobody is treated just like a random customer. We want you to feel welcomed.

We are a safe place for backpackers, so if you're a local, please understand that for most of our customers, it's probably their first time away from family. They can be noisy, messy, doing mistakes, as we all did when we were young. So if you don't like that kind of vibe, it's better not to book us, even if it's your last option. Our mission is to lodge and help young international travellers safe in a clean and safe environment, not local Karen's on a budget thinking she deserves the Hilton for $30 a night.

You can arrive late ! as long as you're booked, payment done and we received copy of ID, then you will get sms / email with all the codes you need to access the hostel and your room !

International Youth hostel : age limite 18yo to 35yo for dormitories. we reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you don't fit the age limit. 

Private rooms, no age limits however the place can be noisy and messy (even though we clean all day long). It's a place for people in their 20's so remember how you were back then, multiply x60 of them, and this is where you will be. So if you decide to book us you are more than welcome but don't complain about youngsters being young. 

BYO alcohol is ok, just no glass for beers and ciders (cans only)

Strictly no visitors allowed : our staff and customers safety is the most important. 

$50 deposit cash per person (to keep a good vibe, no one wants to lose $50)

Checkout 10 am max

Do your dishes and clean after yourselves

No speakers allowed at all time, any noise disturbance will get you evicted without any refund

Strictly no refund unless something's wrong on our hand so please book wisely. I hate wasting time with people arguing about a refund. "but I changed my plans" not my problem
